How It Started
The Law of Motion Personal Training started with one man who lost over 100 pounds and became a testimony to those around, he fell in love with motivating people and found his passion in personal training.
My entire life I was the fat kid that was made fun of. I remember getting my first stretch marks on my thighs when I was 10 years old and later on my stomach when I was 13. I
remember the look on my mom's face when she saw the stretch marks on my stomach for the first time. It was not her fault. She could do nothing to stop my over eating and she did not hold knowledge
of or have a true
Here is me at 19 years old. I had no idea what I was doing to my body.
It was not until 2009 that I finally realized what I was doing to myself. This was the face I saw in the mirror...
I was 350 pounds! You could hear me breathing a mile away as my poor lungs tried to fill with air. I was miserable. But I was fortunate to be tuned in enough to do
something about it. I started making healthy choices and I became obsessed with nutrition.
But that was just the beginning. It took me a couple years after the realization that I had a problem with food before I could master the diet thing. I had to struggle with the reasons why I became so heavy. For me I did not just become obese because I ate the wrong stuff. I over ate whenever I was bored, happy, sad or depressed(usually depressed). For a lot of people, me included, there is beneath surface level issues as to why you are overweight.
If you are one of these people I want you to know that I relate to you. You are the reason that I am so passionate about personal training. You deserve to be happy! Your weight and the way you feel when you are around people should not be an issue you have in your life. You got 99 problems and your weight shouldn't be one.
Today I could not be any happier. I have learned that this is a life long path. It doesn't happen over night. It is a life long, always evolving road. Early on the road I learned about my passion for personal training. I never knew what it was like to have a passion until I found mine as a personal trainer. I love teaching people about nutrition and exercise. I love pushing people past their mental barrier. People are usually a lot stronger then they know they are and I really enjoy when we break that barrier. They get that look on their face like "I can't believe I just did that." Its moments like this that made me fall in love with personal training.
